The Los Angeles Dance Company is a neo-classical and contemporary dance company whose mission is to support, advance and sustain the highest standards of excellence in presenting the highest quality of dance through its performance and education to individuals of all ages. “On Pointe” at 50 and Beyond! celebrates Marie-France Lévesque, former Baryshinikov’s American Ballet Theatre ballerina, as she returns to the stage after 14 years due to a serious car accident. Having just turned 50 years old, she and her new dance company, The Los Angeles Dance Company, is working on an evening of dance and music featuring dances choreographed by former American Ballet Theater dancer Craig Williams and herself and Former San Francisco Ballet Principal dancer Mark Lopez.
