Founded in 2017, Bradford Chin & Dancers is a collaborative, project-based contemporary modern dance company in Southern California and has been presented at Highways Performance Space, the Southern California Dance & Choreography Festival, and ARTX Long Beach. BCD’s repertoire includes virtuosic contemporary modern works illuminating the human spirit as well as comical tongue-in-cheek dance theater works exposing dance processes and poking fun at the idea of “bad dances.” BCD is led by Artistic Director Bradford Chin, who is also the Co-Founder of Downtown Long Beach’s annual stART. Chin has additionally presented work at CSU Long Beach, the American Dance Festival, the Torrance Art Museum, Keshet Center for the Arts, danceXchange, and George Washington High School, and he has taught at the intensives of Huntington Beach Academy for the Performing Arts, Cohesion Dance Project, and Dance West as well as masterclasses at high schools and colleges throughout California.
