Degas Dance Studio is dedicated to instructing, educating and inspiring
children to advanced professional performers in the ART of DANCE. Degas Dance Studio is a training and performance oriented studio with pre-professional opportunities and career guidance. Focus in on technique and artistry. Our team students have placed 1st Place at YAGP (International Ballet Competition) and have been selected as National Young Arts winners, Spotlight Music Center Honorable Mention and twice Ventura Blvd. magazine Top 10 teens. They have received summer scholarships to Jacobs Pillow, Ballet West, Alvin Ailey, Houston Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, European School of
Ballet, Interlochen, Bolshoi, IAMT, Bodytraffic, Idyllwild Arts, Miami City Ballet, Harid Conservatory and Joffrey Ballet.
Although we have only been open since 2010 our graduate alumni
have already received scholarships to Codarts University of Arts
Rotterdam, Netherlands, Barnard College, NYU Tisch, Peabody
Johns Hopkins, apprentice positions with Martha Graham
professional company, positions with touring Musical theatre shows
and are now working professionally in the industry.
