DrumatiX

DrumatiX is an award-winning, bi-coastal creative percussion company that merges tap dance, body percussion, drumming, clowning, and technology into high-energy, interactive performances. Founded and led by choreographer Noa Barankin, DrumatiX has active troupes in Los Angeles, Boston, and San Diego, and transforms everyday objects—barrels, buckets, cardboard boxes, and household items—into dynamic percussive instruments to create original rhythm-driven productions for all ages.

The company has performed at leading venues and festivals, including Lincoln Center, The Old Globe, Symphony Space, Pasadena Playhouse, Clayton Opera House, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, and Providence Performing Arts Center. DrumatiX has also been featured at Hollywood Fringe (Pick of the Fringe), San Diego Fringe (Audience Choice), TEDx, and the Hampton Beach Children’s Festival.

In addition to touring, DrumatiX is a proud arts-in-education partner with The Music Center (L.A.), Segerstrom Center (O.C.), Arts for Learning MA, and Arts Education Connection San Diego, reaching thousands of students annually through performances and STEAM-aligned residencies.
