Encore Dance Company is a pre-professional dance company composed of 12 dancers from the Academy of Dance in Santa Ana, under the direction of Boróka Nagy and Mary Tarpley. The company creates an outlet for young dancers to express themselves through the art of dance and performance. The mission of the company is to give each individual dancer the tools and experience they need to be able to use dance as a healthy emotional release, teach life skills through dance education, and an opportunity for the dancers and audiences to experience the catharsis of concert dance.
Since its foundation in 2021, Encore Dance Company has inspired audiences of all ages through performances at numerous outdoor city venues, the Orange County Dance Festival at the Rose Center Theatre, the inaugural Reborn Arts Dance Festival, and at local schools and churches, helping to foster a sense of community in Orange County
