Gilmtzm 

Founded by choreographer and dance artist Gilberto Martinez Martinez, Gilmtzm creates contemporary performance rooted in queer Chicanx experience, embodied research, and cultural memory. Through dance, theater, music, text, media, and installation, the company explores themes of identity. Gilmtzm approaches the body as an archive, one that carries histories that can be remembered yet disrupted and reimagined through performance. In this space, the body does not simply inherit history, it decides what deserves to be carried forward.
