Instructor/choreographer for over 20 years, Hazel Clarke holds a BA in dance from San Jose State University and founded Kairos Dance Company in 2006. Credits/Awards: 2013 Rocky Mountain Choreography Festival Winner; 2015 sjDANCEco ChoreoFest Winner. Recent performances include: 2017’s ‘Light in the Moonless Midnight’ in efforts to erase the mental illness stigma, 2018’s ‘Paradigm’- The effects of Social Media, and 2019’s ‘She Speaks’ – Empowering Women, all at Tim Robbin’s Actors’ Gang Dance Wednesdays Series. Kairos uses dance as a platform to bring social awareness to the community.
