By Chance, By Choice
About the piece: We don’t choose the families we’re born into. They can be grounding and comforting, or frustrating and confusing. By Chance, By Choice examines familial relationships and the choices we make within them. Drawn from my own experience with my two sisters, the dance explores the difficulties and comforts that accompany having siblings and ultimately, family.
