Rhythm Foundation of Dance (RFDA)

Paramita Bhattacharyya is a “Kathak” dance exponent and performer from Los Angeles. “Kathak” dance is Indian traditional performing art. Paramita is working towards presenting the dance to various audiences with a mission to spread awareness regarding the power of ‘Kathak’ in benefiting mental and physical well-being of human society. She has obtained many awards including International ‘Art World 4 Peace’, ‘Bharat Gaurav’, and received recognition from ‘World Book of Records’, London for her commitment towards the art form. Her work is published in many journals like ‘LA Dance Chronicle’, ‘The Times of India’, and ‘New York Weekly’.

She served as the jury panel in NDEO in Maryland, as President-Elect at California Dance Education Association, and grant panelist at Los Angeles department of cultural affairs.

Paramita has established her dance Institute ‘Rhythm Foundation of Dance (RFDA)’ in LA to teach the dance and heritage to the next generation and present worldwide.
