RISSTHEMOVEMENT is a multidisciplinary collective that transforms everyday human experiences into captivating movement, storytelling, and relevant artistry. Through immersive, multi-sensory experiences and diverse mediums, we aim to challenge perceptions and reframe familiar patterns with intention and creativity.
RISSTHEMOVEMENT has presented work at the ACDA Southeast Gala, Elon Cares/Broadway Cares: Fight Against AIDS, the DANCEWORKS 2021 and 2022 Showcases, and most notably LUME’s DESOLATION. Our creative voice also extends to film with work such as DON’T THINK, IN THE KEY OF, and UNDERLINE, where our choreography and storytelling continue to reach new audiences.
At its core, RISSTHEMOVEMENT is rooted in authenticity. We use movement to reflect lived realities and ignite new possibilities. We’re honored to present our work at the San Pedro Festival of the Arts.
