Soorya Dance Company is a professional Indian Dance company presenting Traditional Indian Dance – “Bharata Naatyam”, a 2000-year-old dance form that originated in the temples of South India. Known for its exquisite technique and amazing facial expressions, this dance form presents stories of Indian Gods and Goddesses. Our colorful bright costumes, melodious music and a refreshing contemporary approach to traditional dance form appeals to audiences of all ages. Award winning dancer, choreographer Guru Sushma Mohan leads the dance company in intrinsic rhythmic presentations and enjoyable dance stories.
Artistic Director, Sushma Mohan, is a Bharatha Natyam Dancer, a Choreographer, and a Musician.
