VIDA – Vannia Ibarguen Dance Arts, a project-based contemporary dance group created in 2005. We had shows in Lima, La Habana, Washington DC, Bogota, New York City and Los Angeles. In LA we have presented works at LA Women Theatre Festival, Brockus Dance Space, Blaktina Dance Festival, and Highways Performing Arts Space.

“It’s not me trying to protect the rainforest. Rather I am part of the rain forest protecting itself.”
Our present ecological crisis is then greatest man-made disaster this planet has ever faced… accelerating climate change, species depletion, pollution, plastic ocean… There is a need to articulate a spiritual response to this ecological crisis. It is vital and necessary if we are to help bring the world as a living whole back into balance. It is a shift, a “spiritual change”, generating a profound sense of interconnectedness with all life.
