White Crane Dance Theatre

Nicole Mathis-Berman is the Founder and Artistic Director of White Crane Dance Theatre (whitecranedance.org) with the mission to create environments that inspire and nurture the human being (spirit) through multimedia dance theatre platforms that embodies individualized and collaborative curative chi (energy).  Flow is a phenomenological investigation conceptualizing the Southern California ocean waters.  Nicole holds a MFA in Choreography from Jacksonville University, a BFA in Dance and Performance from California Institute of the Arts, a M.ED in cross cultural diverse learning and a teaching credential from National University.  She has danced and/or choreographed with: La Danserie, Media City Ballet, City Ballet of Los Angeles, Louise Reichlin & Dancers, San Pedro City Ballet, Ballet Pacifica, Pasadena Dance Theatre, Venice Visionary Performing Arts, and Ballet Theatre International to name a few.  She has taught and choreographed for over 20 private and public dance programs and is thrilled to be part of the San Pedro Festival of the Arts!
